Based on the rich experience of toplevel audio design and the passion for perfection, Viola of USA was the chief design engineer of cello company in 2001“ Mr.Tom  Colangelo and Mr.Paul  "Jayson" was jointly founded. Both Tom and Paul have more than 30 years of advanced audio design experience. As early as the 1970s, they cooperated with mark Levinson, a giant in the sound industry, to establish "MLAs" (the current madrigal company).

The classic model designed by Tom has become a collector's treasure. Later, as mark left MLAs to set up a new cello company, they also switched to cello. Among the cello products designed by Tom and Paul, the Audio Suite preamplifier, audio palette audio equalizer and performance power amplifier have become the designated monitoring equipment for many professional recording studios.

At the end of the 1990s, when Mark decided to leave cello to develop the red rose music brand, Tom and Paul thought that they should seize the opportunity to sublimate the classic design, so they established Viola audio laboratories.
