Diesis EdoVox loudspeakers are built around a selected and proprietary composite material

structure that ensures more control, focus and definition of the audio message. That

cabinet is made from a sandwich of fine materials, such as Corian, solid wood, PVC and

rubber. The weight is also significant, almost three times that of an equivalent wooden

cabinet, which benefits vibration damping and signal control by avoiding the typical

euphonic and uncontrolled bracing of classic cabinets made of wood or MDF. This system

with its PVC Monoblock base excavated from solid with Numerically controlled machines

to house the crossover filter separated therefore from the speaker cabinet and

consequently allows already optimal openTrumpet loading tuning at any distance from

the rear wall while maintaining unexpected bass and articulation for the size, with an

increased sensitivity of 92.5 dB effective.

The two 10-inch mid-range and bass drivers were chosen for their design specifications

with an ultralight paper cone and triplewave cotton suspension, deeply customized and

assisted by a crossover of very high workmanship with very high quality components,

Another sophisticated peculiarity of this design is the horn loading of the bass woofer

which, cut at 200 hertz acts, only as a reinforcement to the so called two-and-a-half-way

system. EdoVox thus has two 25cm woofers, very light and with rigid suspension, with

great extension at low frequencies for their size, practically a unicum in world  production.

As mentioned, the first one emits downward and is cut at 200 Hz with

calculated tuning, which allows the speaker to be placed on any flat surface without special

care. The second woofer emits to the front and deals with the mid frequencies, up to 1800

hertz, with great energy due to its size. The compression driver and circular profile horn

takes care of the remaining frequencies, well beyond audible since it offers claimed data

that goes beyond 20,000 hertz.
