Diesis Audio Caput Mundi SE is the first speaker model in the world to conjugate a low-frequency dipole with a medium-high frequency coaxial compression sensor.

The Caput Mundi is a 3.5-channel speaker, the mid treble is a coaxial horn, and the bass is a woofer fitted with two 12-inch dipole paper woofers. The Caput Mundi  SE speakers are equipped with a globally unique coaxial compression driver for the middle and high frequencies. Equipped with a specially designed horn, the alto unit provides stable, continuous and consistent sound output in the range of 600Hz-25000Hz.

The unique shape and size of the horn, as well as the shape and radius of the small horn embedded in the center, have been carefully designed and calculated, resulting in a diffusivity that enables better sound projection and off-axis response than similar horns. At the same time, designers used fewer components in the frequency divider, so that its mid-to-high frequency band has realistic natural sound and minimal phase displacement.

The folding ring of these two bass units is a kind of organ cloth hanging edge, which makes this special paper plate middle bass unit has short front and rear stroke, fast response speed, and the speed of compressed horn treble unit. Meanwhile, it also has the looseness of middle and low frequency of large-diameter unit.

Then there are the coupled bass structures, which do not have the dyeing that occurs inside the box. It is necessary to adjust the parameters of the box to achieve a certain damping. The coupled bass has excellent damping characteristics. Even at low power and low volume listening has a very high restoring quality. The phase noise changes very little and it can restore more fineness and clarity of mid and low frequency.

Patented materials exclusively developed by Diesis Audio CLAD 58 are made of special materials solidified in a single die to ensure their excellent hardness and damping properties. When output at the same sound pressure, they will not generate excessive vibration diffusion like solid wood materials.
