For speaker cables, we use a mix of copper and silver cotton insulated Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC). The number of wires and their diameters were carefully tried to achieve the best balance between flash, presence, warmth and fullness.

The total cross section of each conductor branch is 4.73 mm ^ 2 (9.46 mm ^ 2 per channel). Each beam is surrounded by a thick braided soft packing (for mechanical damping) and a special layer of dissipated carbon shielding to prevent EMI/RFI and reduce the electrostatic charge that inevitably builds up in the cable. The screen should be connected to the amplifier case or ground via an external 4mm banana socket.

You get the best results if you connect the screen to Computer Audio Design's CAD ground control. This significantly reduces the perceived "noise level" - the separation and texture of the instrument and sound becomes more pronounced and enhances the "blackness" of the background.

The connector is WBT 0681 NextGen silver 8.1 mm spades or WBT 0610 NextGen silver banana. Speaker cable length from 1 meter, to 50 cm for the step length. It can also be used as a 30 cm jumper.
